We generally make a decision about your submission within forty-eight hours. If it isn't the best story of the day we schedule publication for about seven days later. If it's very seasonal text we try to schedule it for an appropriate day. If it's publishable but we can't fit it in at he moment we'll keep it for about a month. And then we may decline but suggest you resubmit in six months if you haven't found a home for it yet.
If you are a writer known to us and have worked well with us in the past, we'll keep your text ad infinitum. We're currently publishing this backlog on Sundays and on those rare days when we don't get any new submissions.
