Saturday Sample: Theme and Variations by Vanessa Horn, sparkling water

 Introduction

Why write a flash fiction collection based on music? Because…

Music is such an important part of life. It’s a way of expressing feelings and emotions as well as being an escape from the extremes of life.

Music is everything - from providing a source of entertainment to offering a lifeline for those in need.

Most people have been affected by music. It could be a song which transports you to a different era, place or mood, or an instrumental piece which can make you cry, laugh, or ponder the meaning of life.

Music can say many things to many people. This book is for everyone who has music in their lives - externally or internally
